Bid for Native Asphalt (oil sands)

The Uintah County, Utah is seeking bids from qualified vendors to supply native asphalt (oil sands) for use in county operations. The material must meet minimum quality standards and be made available for county pickup within Uintah County's geographic boundaries. The bid must include a firm, fixed unit price for the material, and the pricing shall remain firm throughout 2026. The county reserves the right to conduct random sampling of any and all materials. • The total quantity required is up to 16,000 tons. • The material must be available for pickup within 30 miles of Uintah County's storage site location. • The award will be based on the financial savings to the county arising from the additional labor and equipment hours required due to increased travel times. • The successful proposer may be required to maintain insurance coverage throughout the duration of the contract.
