Partners for Communities for All Initiative

The County of Dakota is launching the “Communities for All” initiative and is seeking Letters of Interest (LOI) from entities that either need assistance becoming more disability‑inclusive (Type 1) or can provide expertise, training, technical assistance, or physical accessibility improvements (Type 2). Matched partnerships will be formed and micro‑grants may be awarded to support implementation. Respondents must submit a ≤10‑page PDF LOI by the final deadline, including a cover letter and responses to three specific questions. No budget or cost proposal is required at this stage. • Identify as a Need‑Assistance partner (business, school, nonprofit, etc.) or as an Expertise Provider (consultants, training firms, accessibility designers). • Offer services such as disability‑awareness training, technical assistance, property modifications, adaptive‑equipment procurement, or policy advocacy. • County will pair Type 1 and Type 2 partners and may provide micro‑grant funding; contracts are expected to start 1 Jan 2026.
