Underground Utility Repair and Infrastructure Services

The University at Buffalo is seeking a qualified contractor to deliver comprehensive underground utility repair and infrastructure services across its campus for a five‑year term. The scope includes sewer line rehabilitation, water main repairs, manhole restoration, valve and hydrant maintenance, steam pipe repair, site restoration, and the abatement, removal, and proper disposal of transite (asbestos‑containing) pipe in compliance with all applicable regulations. The contractor must supply labor, specialized equipment, traffic‑control measures, and supervision, and be capable of responding to both planned and emergency repairs while minimizing disruption to campus operations and public traffic. • Perform full‑service underground utility repairs (sewer, water, steam, valves, hydrants). • Conduct transite pipe abatement and legally dispose of hazardous material. • Provide site restoration, traffic control, and emergency response capabilities. • Supply all labor, equipment, materials, and supervision required for the five‑year contract. • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental and safety regulations.
