Statistical Reappraisal of all Real Property within the Limits of Newport RI

The City of Newport is seeking a contractor to provide a statistical reappraisal of all real property within the city limits, effective December 31, 2026. The contractor will be responsible for valuing all taxable and exempt real estate, including land, buildings, and improvements. The contractor must have experience in revaluation projects and must comply with Rhode Island certification standards and USPAP Standards. The project includes a field review, appraisal of residential and commercial buildings, and the development of a land value map. The contractor will also be responsible for providing public relations services and conducting a program of public information. • The project requires the complete statistical reappraisal and revaluation of all real property within the corporate limits of Newport, Rhode Island. • The contractor must have experience in revaluation projects and must comply with Rhode Island certification standards and USPAP Standards. • The project includes a field review, appraisal of residential and commercial buildings, and the development of a land value map. • The contractor will also be responsible for providing public relations services and conducting a program of public information. • The contractor must provide a letter of transmittal, a list of municipalities for which the contractor has completed revaluation programs, and a list of revaluation contracts for which the contractor is currently committed.
