2026-023 Continental Penstock and Upper Canal Repairs

The City of Lewiston is seeking bids for the Continental Penstock and Upper Canal Repairs project. The work includes plugging the Continental Mill Hydro Station dual intake penstocks, repairing surrounding canal walls, and other related tasks. The scope of work includes constructing concrete bulkheads, installing flowable fill, repairing cracked and spalling concrete, repointing brick walls, and demolition of existing catwalks and trash racks. • The project requires a bid security in the form of a bid bond or certified check in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid price. • The bid opening will be held on April 28, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. • A pre-bid meeting will be held on April 7, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. via Zoom. • The project plans and specifications are available for download. • The City of Lewiston reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
