Request for Information / Sources Sought - Airshow Management

The Air Force District of Washington (AFDW) is seeking to identify qualified sources and best practices for potentially contracting comprehensive, turnkey airshow planning, management, and execution services for a large-scale, public airshow at a military installation within the National Capital Region. The RFI requests information on the capabilities, approaches, and cost structures associated with providing turnkey airshow management services. The scope of services includes initial concept development through post-event analysis. • The airshow is expected to have an attendance of 100,000-200,000 people. • The airshow will be a multi-day event. • The contractor will be responsible for planning, managing, and executing the airshow. • The contractor will need to have experience working with military installations and navigating Department of War (DoW) and Department of the Air Force (DAF) regulations and security protocols. • The contractor will need to have a comprehensive understanding of safety and compliance, including emergency response and safety plans, environmental regulations, and security plans.
