Statewide Construction Inspection Services

The Delaware Department of Transportation is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide construction inspection services on an as-needed basis. The services required include engineering, surveying, and highway design. The successful candidates will be expected to provide NICET (or equivalent) certified personnel and have the ability to provide a full range of inspection expertise and personnel for a varied range of statewide assignments. The projects may range from very small to large, depending on Departmental requirements at the time of the assignment. • The contract will be for a three-year term with two possible one-year extensions. • The agreement type is IDIQ (Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity). • Up to five agreements may be awarded from this solicitation. • The resulting agreement will be federally funded. • The anticipated method of payment is cost plus fixed fee. • A five percent (5%) DBE goal has been established for the sum total of all federally funded tasks associated with this Agreement.
