USAGM Shortwave Transmission Services

The U.S. Agency for Global Media (USAGM) is seeking information from industry partners to provide Shortwave Transmission Services. The services include leasing high-quality transmission capacity for shortwave broadcasting to Africa, Asia, and Eastern Europe, receiving USAGM programming feed, and transmitting it by shortwave. The contract will have a base period of 6 months and four option periods of 12 months each. The contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary equipment, facilities, and personnel to perform the services. The USAGM will measure the contractor's performance based on the quality of the services provided, with a performance threshold of no more than one customer complaint per month. • The contractor must provide high-quality broadcast services of USAGM Shortwave programs. • The contractor must lease high-quality transmission capacity for shortwave broadcasting to Africa, Asia, and Eastern Europe. • The contractor must receive USAGM programming feed and transmit it by shortwave. • The contractor must provide all necessary equipment, facilities, and personnel to perform the services. • The contractor must meet the performance threshold of no more than one customer complaint per month.
