Appraisal Services Support for Real Estate Activities – New York State

The United States Postal Service (USPS) is seeking qualified and capable Appraisal Service Providers (ASPs) to support appraisal services requirements throughout the State of New York. The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is to assess industry capabilities, vendor availability, and market capacity to support potential future contracting opportunities for appraisal-related services within New York State. • Appraisal services are required to support a wide range of real estate and asset management activities, including acquisition of owned or leased property, lease renewals and rental analysis, disposal of owned property, easements and rights-of-way, property tax reduction initiatives, outleasing and subleasing activities, and litigation and condemnation support. • Prospective firms should demonstrate experience and capability performing commercial real estate appraisals throughout New York State and possess familiarity with regional market conditions, urban and rural property valuation considerations, and state-specific regulatory environments. • All appraisers engaged by the Postal Service to produce an appraisal report must hold a Certified General Appraiser license in the state where the subject property is located.
