Savannah State University is seeking qualified suppliers to provide comprehensive commercial moving services for the campus. The contract will be awarded on a one‑year base period with up to four optional one‑year renewals. Bidders must submit fully‑burdened hourly rates for labor, truck, and equipment, and cannot bill separately for travel, mileage, fuel, or other transportation‑related expenses. The scope includes loading, unloading, wrapping, inventory management, transport, placement of furniture and equipment, and post‑move clean‑up, with strict safety, background‑check, and university‑policy compliance requirements. The evaluation will be based on a scenario of 1 truck, 1 driver, 2 laborers for 5 hours, using all‑inclusive hourly rates. • Minimum 10 years experience in commercial moving services. • Provide all trucks, lift‑gates, labor, equipment, and consumables (hand trucks, pallet jacks, blankets, shrink‑wrap, tape). • Must respond to routine service requests within 2 business days and perform services within 5 business days of request. • No subcontracting without prior written approval; all personnel must meet background‑check and campus policy standards.
