DFS JW Notice of Proposed Best Value Grand Award: Fire Training Facilities

The Department of Fire Services (DFS) is seeking proposals for the construction and management of fire training facilities throughout the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. The selected contractors will be required to sign a Massachusetts Standard Contract Form and provide specialized, live-fire training facilities for training members of the MA Fire Service and other first responders. The grant is issued under 815 CMR 2.00 per MGL c.7A, s.7 and St. 1986, c.206, s.17. • The DFS intends to contract with four government entities to secure the fire training facilities. • The grant is for the construction and management of fire training facilities. • The selected contractors will be required to sign a Massachusetts Standard Contract Form. • The grant is subject to the Commonwealth Terms and Conditions. • The DFS reserves the right to terminate or suspend the contract without cause and without penalty.
