Medical Grade Oxygen

Collier County’s Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and Emergency Management Division are seeking a vendor to supply, refill, deliver, retrieve, and periodically hydrostatically test medical‑grade oxygen cylinders of various sizes for use on ambulances, special‑needs shelters, and domestic animal services. The contract runs through September 30, 2027 and includes a seasonal hurricane rental program (July 30‑Nov 30) and optional purchases of new tanks, regulators, and portable oxygen generators. Vendors must meet FDA, OSHA, NFPA, and Florida Department of Rehabilitative Services certifications, provide after‑hours emergency delivery capability, and handle all logistics (pick‑up, loading, off‑loading, labeling, invoicing). Pricing must be all‑inclusive (fuel, maintenance, fees) and the award will be based on the lowest responsive quote. • Supply of medical‑grade O₂ in D, E, K, M, T, OX‑MT, OX‑MM, OX‑MD, OX‑M6, OX‑M9 cylinder sizes. • Weekly deliveries to primary EMS stations plus on‑call emergency deliveries (natural disasters, mass‑casualty events). • Seasonal hurricane rental of up to 200 tanks and 10‑30 portable oxygen generators. • Refill and hydrostatic testing of County‑owned tanks (aluminum & steel). • Optional fixed‑price purchase of new steel/aluminum tanks, regulators, and generators. • Compliance with FDA USP oxygen specifications, OSHA, NFPA, and state licensing. • Required three 24‑hour contact persons for emergency calls. • All goods FOB destination; vendor responsible for insurance, licensing, and documentation.
