Budget estimate

$500,000 – $1,000,000

The estimated annual usage of the chemicals is 250,000 gallons of aluminum sulfate, 30,000 gallons of ammonium sulfate, and 4,000 gallons of sodium bisulfite. Assuming an average cost of $2.50 per gallon for aluminum sulfate, $3.00 per gallon for ammonium sulfate, and $4.00 per gallon for sodium bisulfite, the total estimated annual cost would be $625,000 for aluminum sulfate, $90,000 for ammonium sulfate, and $16,000 for sodium bisulfite, for a total of $731,000. However, this is just an estimate and the actual cost may vary depending on the prices bid by the contractors.
