2 pond fountain pumps (informal)

The City of Salisbury is seeking bids for the provision and installation of a complete pond fountain system designed for continuous outdoor operation in a freshwater pond. The system should operate on 240V single-phase power and be capable of both aesthetic display and water aeration. The system shall include a floating fountain assembly, pump, motor, power cable, mooring system, and control panel. • The fountain pump and motor should be submersible, centrifugal, and rated for continuous duty. • The system should have a minimum flow rate of 150-250 GPM at operating head and a maximum display height of 12-25 feet. • The float assembly should be constructed of UV-resistant, rotationally molded polyethylene or fiberglass, and have sufficient buoyancy to support the pump and nozzle. • The nozzle assembly should be made of stainless steel or heavy-duty thermoplastic and have interchangeable nozzles. • The power and control cable should be submersible-rated, flexible, and have a minimum length of 100 feet. • The installation should be done according to the manufacturer's recommendations and in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC).
