FTZ Janitorial Services

The State of Hawaii, Department of Business, Economic Development, and Tourism, Foreign-Trade Zone No. 9, is seeking a contractor to provide janitorial services for the Foreign-Trade Zone No. 9 facility. The contractor will be responsible for maintaining the common areas, restrooms, and offices in a clean and sanitary condition. The services will include daily, monthly, and bi-annual tasks such as cleaning, disinfecting, and waxing floors. The contractor will also be required to provide all necessary equipment, supplies, and labor to perform the services. The contract will be for a period of 12 months, with the option to extend for an additional 3 years. • The contractor will be required to provide janitorial services for approximately 16,390 square feet of space. • The contractor will be required to provide services on a daily basis, including cleaning and disinfecting restrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, and emptying trash containers. • The contractor will be required to provide services on a monthly basis, including thoroughly cleaning doors, walls, and partitions, and waxing floors. • The contractor will be required to provide services on a bi-annual basis, including stripping and waxing floors, and cleaning windows and window wells. • The contractor will be required to provide all necessary equipment, supplies, and labor to perform the services. • The contractor will be required to have a valid Hawaii General Excise Tax license and to comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
