Janitorial/Custodial Cleaning and Related Services

Metro is seeking a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive janitorial and custodial cleaning services for multiple Metro‑managed facilities under an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. The contractor must supply all labor, supervision, equipment, supplies, and sustainable cleaning products, and must meet strict environmental, safety, and diversity requirements. The award will be based on cost, methodology, and qualifications, with a strong emphasis on E‑BO and SBE/SDV participation. • Core services: daily trash/recycling collection, restocking of consumables, interior/exterior cleaning, and facility‑wide janitorial duties. • Optional/required ancillary services: day‑porter staffing, hood & vent cleaning, utility drain treatments, and window washing. • Sustainability mandates: use of HEPA‑filtered vacuums, CRI‑certified equipment, eco‑friendly cleaning agents, and compliance with LEED‑based product standards. • Administrative obligations: background checks for all personnel, 24/7 management line, detailed reporting, and adherence to insurance, ADA, and information‑security agreements.
