Avon Gas Masks & Filtration

The City of Asheville is seeking a single authorized dealer or distributor to supply a defined list of Avon‑brand gas‑mask components for its Police Department. The procurement is an informal bid (IBR) with no public opening; the contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. All items must be new, unused, and delivered “ASAP” with freight included in the unit price and sales tax excluded. The vendor must provide proof of insurance, comply with E‑Verify (if applicable), and meet the City’s MWBE inclusion policy (optional). No substitutions are allowed, and the bid must remain firm for at least 30 days. • Required items: 14 packs of Avon CTCF50 Riot Agent Canisters, 35 small APR assemblies, 35 medium APR assemblies, 11 large APR assemblies, 5 packs of gaskets, and 63 universal mask carriers. • Delivery must be FOB to the City’s address with the bidder specifying the number of calendar days for delivery. • Bids are to be submitted by email by 3:00 PM on 28 January 2026; questions are due by 21 January 2026. • Vendor must be an authorized Avon dealer, provide CGL/Auto/Workers’ Compensation insurance, and acknowledge any addenda.
