Newspaper Advertising

Knox County is seeking a provider for newspaper advertising services for all county departments and associated agencies. The provider must have county-wide circulation and meet specific requirements, including being a newspaper of general circulation and meeting state criteria for legal and retail advertising. The contract will be for one year, with the option to extend for up to four additional years. The evaluation criteria will include cost per column inch, total circulation, and references. Proposers must submit a certified statement of circulation and provide a free subscription to the newspaper. • The contract is expected to start on June 30, 2015, and end on June 29, 2020. • The provider will be required to provide a monthly billing to each county department placing advertisements. • The provider must be able to receive advertisement orders via fax machine and email. • The provider must provide a confirmation of publication on a daily or weekly basis.
