Crane Body Upfit for Ford F-550 Service Truck for the Department of Public Works

The City of Indianapolis and Marion County Department of Public Works is seeking a qualified vendor to supply and install a complete crane‑body upfit on a Ford F‑550 service truck. The contract will be a term agreement for the delivery, assembly, testing, training, warranty support, and parts supply of a Knapheide KMT1‑11R 11‑ft crane body (no substitutes) to be delivered to the IFS Facility at 1651 West 30th Street, Indianapolis, IN. The scope includes: • Provision of all specified components (crane, hydraulic system, lighting, safety equipment, storage fixtures, etc.) • Installation and final inspection to meet City/IFS standards • Delivery within 30 calendar days of order • One‑year warranty (or longer if manufacturer offers) • Training of IFS technicians (≈½ day) • Ongoing parts support and warranty repair within defined response times.
