Architectural & Engineering Services for a New Health and Human Service Building

The Washington County, WI is seeking architectural and engineering services for the development of a new Health and Human Services Building. The selected firm will be required to provide services including conducting a space needs assessment, designing and engineering the new building, developing plans and specifications, cost estimating, and construction administration. The project is estimated to be approximately 75,000 square feet, with at least a partial basement, two stories, elevator, pharmacy, and morgue. The selected firm must have proven experience in designing government buildings, preferably with an emphasis on health and human services buildings and morgues. Some key points to consider: • The project is a traditional design, bid, build project. • The selected firm will be required to furnish an acceptable Certificate of Insurance to Washington County upon award. • The firm must have completed or remodeled at least one similar health and human services building or morgue type project within the past five years. • The firm must include at least 3 reference projects for similar buildings completed in the past five years in their response to this request.
