The Shelby County Board of Education seeks a qualified vendor to provide full‑service network structured‑cabling for its K‑12 schools across Memphis, TN. The contract is a 1‑year initial term with two optional one‑year renewals and requires design, installation, testing, labeling, warranty, and related low‑voltage electrical work for both Category 6/6a copper and multimode/single‑mode fiber‑optic cabling. The vendor must maintain BICSI‑registered staff, product certification (CommScope Systimax or Panduit equivalent), and comply with all fire, safety, and local‑preference policies. • Install, alter, repair, and certify Cat 6/6a and OM4/OS2 fiber runs in ~400 MDF/IDF closets, ~6,000 classrooms, and other facilities. • Provide “no‑cost” site surveys, engineering design, detailed as‑built drawings, and testing (TIA/EIA‑568‑B.1 standards). • Supply and install required electrical circuits, conduit, and fire‑rated accessories; respond to normal requests within 24 hrs and emergencies within 5 hrs. • Maintain a 1‑year labor/parts warranty plus 20‑year manufacturer warranty; meet local‑preference advantage and insurance requirements.
