Third Party Claims Management

The Greater Dayton Regional Transit Authority (RTA) is seeking a Third Party Claims Management administrator with on-staff attorney(s) to assist in the proactive and aggressive management of its self-insured and state-funded workers compensation claims. The selected vendor will be responsible for providing claims administration services, including technology and customer service. The contract will be for a term of 3 years with 2 option years, and the RTA reserves the right to extend the term of the contract. The RTA is looking for a vendor with experience in claims administration, particularly in the public sector and self-insured experience. The vendor should have a strong understanding of the claims administration process, including technology and customer service. The RTA also requires the vendor to have a strong financial capacity and recent experience conducting work of similar scope, complexity, and magnitude for other public agencies. Some key aspects of the job include: * Providing claims administration services, including technology and customer service * Managing self-insured and state-funded workers compensation claims * Having on-staff attorney(s) to assist in the proactive and aggressive management of claims * Having experience in claims administration, particularly in the public sector and self-insured experience * Having a strong financial capacity and recent experience conducting work of similar scope, complexity, and magnitude for other public agencies
