Crop Hauling Services

The State of Arkansas is seeking bids for crop hauling services for the Department of Corrections. The contractor will be required to provide dump or hopper bottom trucks to haul crops from the Cummins Unit farm. The contract will be for an initial term of one year, with the option to renew for up to six additional one-year terms. The contractor must have an adequate number of vehicles, drivers, and equipment to provide the services specified in the solicitation. The contractor will be paid based on the unit price per hundredweight of crops hauled. • The contractor must provide trucks and drivers within four hours of request from the Department. • The contractor must allow the Department to search all vehicles entering Department property at any time. • The contractor must adhere to the Department's guidelines and procedures at all times. • The contractor will be paid only for those loads properly documented and reported to the Department. The solicitation includes a Bid Response Packet and an Official Bid Price Sheet that must be completed and submitted with the bid. The Bid Response Packet includes a signed Bid Signature Page, a completed Bid Response Packet, and a completed Official Bid Price Sheet. The Official Bid Price Sheet must include pricing for the estimated quantity of crops to be hauled, as well as any additional costs or fees.
