SBU / Institute for Discovery and Innovation in Medical Engineering (I-DIME)

The State University of New York at Stony Brook (herein after referred to as "SUNY”) is soliciting proposals to provide all labor, material, equipment and services necessary for the new construction of the Institute for Discovery and Innovation in Medicine & Engineering (I-DIME) at the State University of New York at Stony Brook, Stony Brook, NY 11794 , as herein described delivered NET FOB Destination in accordance with SUNY at Stony Brook bid# 26/27-002MC, Exhibits, and PRC#2026025815. A Project Labor Agreement (PLA) has been adopted for this project. This agreement openly promotes bidding from all contractors – union and non-union. The low bidder must execute and abide by the terms of the project-specific Project Labor Agreement. This project Labor Agreement also impacts acceptable staffing patterns of the project. The PLA should be read in its entirety by all potential bidders prior to submitting a proposal. There will be a one-time, MANDATORY site visit for perspective bidders scheduled for Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at 1:00 pm (SHARP) at Stony Brook University, Research & Development Park, 1512 Development Drive, Research & Support Services Building 17, Room 109, Stony Brook, NY 11794-6010. Only those contractors who attend the site visit will be eligible to bid on this project All work on this Contract is to be completed within 730 calendar days after the date of the Notice to Proceed.
