Fiber Structured Cabling

The Grosse Pointe Public Schools is seeking a vendor to provide fiber structured cabling at two school buildings. The project includes the installation of 10Gbps single-mode fiber cables, data jacks, and other related equipment. The vendor will be responsible for providing all labor, supervision, tooling, and miscellaneous mounting hardware and consumables for the structured cabling system. The project is expected to be completed by September 30, 2026. • The fiber cabling system must be capable of a minimum 10Gbps connection speed. • The vendor must provide a comprehensive and detailed bill of materials for all proposed structured cabling components and equipment. • The vendor must test all cables and termination hardware for defects in installation and to verify cable performance under installed conditions. • The vendor must provide a written guarantee/warranty covering the installed cabling system against defects in workmanship, components, and performance, and follow-on support after project completion for a period of three years.
