Description

The County of Dane is seeking site hosts for public electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure as part of the Charge Up Dane County program. The program aims to expand public EV charging infrastructure across Dane County, with a focus on underserved areas. Selected site hosts will receive complimentary installed EV charging infrastructure and maintenance and operations support for five years. In return, site hosts must dedicate a portion of their parking to public EV charging. The County is looking for sites that meet one of the following priorities: high-density urban and suburban areas, rural areas, or multi-modal transportation hubs. • The site host must have publicly available parking space and be willing to host EV charging infrastructure. • The site host must make 5-6 parking spots exclusively available to EV drivers for charging. • The site host cannot limit installed charger use and parking access. • The site host must ensure parking is publicly available at least during the site host’s hours of operation. • The County will prioritize sites that are accessible 24/7 for charging.

The actual budget will depend on the specifics of the contract and the number of sites selected.
