Sports Safety Netting - Riverside High School

The School District of Greenville County is issuing a sealed‑bid Invitation for Bid (IFB) to furnish and install protective sports safety netting at Riverside High School’s baseball stadium. The contractor must provide a 30‑ft‑tall backstop netting system, replace approximately 30 linear feet of existing backstop fencing, extend netting down the first‑ and third‑base lines (≈160 ft and 70 ft respectively), and handle all demolition, removal, disposal, concrete drilling, backfill, and site restoration. Materials must be #36‑gauge twisted, knotted black nylon ball net with 1‑3/4″ mesh, UV‑resistant, and include all poles, foundations, clips, and cables. Work is to start December 1, 2026 and be substantially complete by January 31, 2027; the contract period is one year from award. A 5 % bid security, performance/payments bonds, and a warranty are required. Liquidated damages of $250 per day apply for late completion.
