Description
The Board of Education of Buchanan Community Schools is soliciting bids to design, install, and commission a new well and irrigation system for the high‑school softball field, including a Hunter ICC2 flow controller and future expansion capability. The contractor must be a licensed Michigan well‑drilling and/or plumbing contractor, provide a 5 % bid bond (or cash equivalent), performance and payment bonds equal to 100 % of the contract price, and carry required insurance. Bids are due November 30, 2026 (2:00 PM); a pre‑bid meeting (optional) is scheduled for October 29, 2026; questions must be submitted by November 17, 2026. Project work is expected to start mid‑June 2027 and be fully completed by July 30, 2027. The award will be made December 15, 2026.
