The Air Force is conducting market research for an 8(a) set‑aside contract to provide range and operations support (RAOS) at Tyndall Air Force Base. The effort will furnish technical services, labor, and specialized expertise to operate and maintain multiple test facilities—including a materials‑testing‑systems lab, indoor ballistic range, explosive test range, Sky X range, and fire‑research facilities—and to provide qualified personnel such as EOD Master Technicians, video‑photography technicians, instrumentation technicians, fire‑research technicians, and electronics technicians. The contractor will be responsible for routine and emergency operations, tool‑control, hazardous‑material handling, safety compliance, travel, and the delivery of numerous technical data products and reports.
• Provide full‑time technical labor and support for steady‑state and emergency range operations.
• Supply specialized technicians (EOD, instrumentation, video‑photography, fire‑research, electronics) and related safety/quality‑control functions.
• Deliver required deliverables (quality‑control plan, purchase reports, monthly technical summaries, semi‑annual management reports, test plans, data products, etc.) in accordance with AFCEC standards.
