The State of Hawaii’s Department of Land and Natural Resources (DLNR), Division of Forestry and Wildlife, is seeking a qualified aviation provider to furnish exclusive helicopter transportation services for its Maui District. The contractor will supply a dedicated 4‑seat helicopter, qualified pilots, and all associated operational support to conduct aerial application of Bacillus thuringiensis israelensis (Bti) for mosquito control, transport personnel and equipment, and perform sling‑load missions. The agreement is a 12‑month exclusive‑use contract with the option to extend up to two additional years. The helicopter must be based on Maui, be available five days per week, and meet extensive FAA, state, and safety certifications. Pricing is a lump‑sum for the exclusive‑use period with monthly installments; additional fees, transaction fees, and compliance documentation are required.
