Sousa Park Pool Management

The City of Stockton is seeking proposals from qualified organizations to operate and manage Sousa Park Pool under a contractual partnership. The selected proponent will provide comprehensive management and operational services for the pool, including staffing, programming, daily operational oversight, and compliance requirements. The proponent will be responsible for maintaining the pool's safety and cleanliness, providing lifeguard supervision, and managing facility keys. The city will supply one automated external defibrillator per facility, and the proponent will maintain supplies in accordance with local health department requirements. Some key aspects of the job include: • Providing full-service management and operation of Sousa Park Pool for the designated swim season • Maintaining accident and incident reports and notifying the city representative immediately of any occurrence • Providing a copy of their company safety plan, which includes the number of safety meetings during the swim season • Maintaining a complete file of public comments, complaints, and incidents • Meeting or exceeding all local, state, and national health and safety standards • Providing city copies of all pool rules and participation waivers
