This solicitation is for the purchase, delivery, assembly, and installation of a complete set of career‑technical‑education (CTE) tools and training equipment for New Castle County Vo‑Tech’s vocational‑technical high‑school shops. The agency will acquire new, “approved‑equal” equipment across multiple trade disciplines (carpentry, electrical, masonry, millwright, plumbing) with single‑unit quantities for most items and modest quantities for larger fixtures such as shelving and fume extraction. The contract is a one‑year term (Jan 28 2026 – Jan 28 2027) with the possibility of up to three one‑year extensions. Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes by 10:00 am EST on Jan 28 2026; questions are due by Jan 20 2026. The vendor must be a registered Delaware supplier, carry required insurance, and provide monthly usage and quarterly subcontractor diversity reports. • Scope: supply and install listed CTE tools (planers, sanders, lathes, drill presses, band saws, motor‑control stations, conduit benders, CNC plasma cutter, ironworker, fluid‑power learning systems, welding booths, pipe racks, shelving, etc.). • Quantity: mostly 1 unit per item; larger items up to 10 units (e.g., metal shelving). • Delivery/Installation window: April 1 – April 30 2026, on‑site at the school, with floor protection and limited access hours (7 am‑3:30 pm). • No bid bond or performance bond required; insurance minimums apply. • Vendor may propose approved‑equal substitutions and must acknowledge receipt of addenda. • Reporting: monthly usage reports (15th each month) and quarterly 2nd‑tier subcontractor diversity reports.
