Wastewater Filtration System

The United States Air Force is soliciting a quotation for a wastewater filtration system, specifically the EXTRAN Ultra Filtration System, for the 5th MXS. The system is required to process and treat dye penetrant wastewater generated from Non-Destructive Inspection (NDI) and Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) operations. The system must be able to withstand the consistent exposure to harsh chemicals over a substantial operational lifecycle. The contractor is expected to install the system, consisting of a feed pump, bag filter, tank, process pump, membrane module, and polishing unit, and provide training to personnel on the usage of the product. • The system must be able to treat wastewater containing aggressive industrial solvents, surfactants, and organic compounds. • The system must be able to maintain optimal filtration performance without leaching secondary contaminants into the processed wastewater stream. • The contractor must provide training to personnel on the usage of the product. • The system must meet the strict operational specifications and environmental safety tolerances outlined in the governing Technical Orders (TOs) and base/MAJCOM environmental guidance.
