The Livonia Public Schools are soliciting bids to construct the 2026 “Thrive Fitness Track” at Garfield Community School (10218 Arthur St, Livonia, MI 48150). The scope includes demolition of existing basketball hoops and asphalt, site grading, drainage and utility work, installation of new asphalt, synthetic turf, poured‑in‑place rubber surfacing, concrete curbing, landscaping (tree planting, topsoil and seed), and the supply and installation of a variety of outdoor fitness equipment (shade structures, benches, ADA tables, rowing machine, chest press, hand bike, etc.). The contractor must verify utilities, coordinate with the landscape architect, manage storm‑drain and irrigation systems, and provide post‑construction maintenance for lawn and plant establishment.
