Description
The University of Michigan Medical School seeks a single vendor to deliver an enterprise‑grade scheduling platform that integrates software with native hardware endpoints such as digital room signage and occupancy sensors. The solution must meet HIPAA, data‑security, and accessibility (WCAG 2.1 AA/Section 508) requirements, and the vendor must sign both the Data Security Agreement and Business Associate Agreement “as‑is.” The contract is for an initial three‑year term with two optional one‑year extensions, and the university prefers Michigan‑based or U.S.‑based suppliers if competitively priced.
• Provide a unified scheduling system for the medical school and affiliated hospitals, including digital signage and occupancy sensor integration.
• Comply with HIPAA, sign the University’s BAA, and satisfy extensive cybersecurity certifications (SOC 2, ISO 27001, HITRUST, etc.).
• Deliver accessibility‑compliant software (WCAG 2.1 AA, Section 508) and submit required VPAT/ACR documentation.
• Submit a complete cost proposal (Excel spreadsheet, narrative) covering staffing, rates, travel, and milestone payments.
• Offer a three‑year contract with possible two‑year extensions; payment terms Net 45 or Net 0 if enrolled in the University virtual‑card program.
