Plant Interstage Cooler Bundle Assemblies

The United States Air Force is seeking sources for Plant Interstage Cooler Bundle Assemblies. The assemblies will be installed at the Arnold Engineering Development Complex (AEDC) Arnold Air Force Base. The contract requires the supplier to provide 5 cooler bundle assemblies, each consisting of tubes, supports, and fins. The assemblies must meet specific performance requirements, including operating at required capacity with up to 20% of the tubes plugged. The contractor must also provide analysis and design calculations to verify the cooler meets the requirements. • The assemblies must be designed to fit within the existing envelope without modification or addition to the existing structures. • The bundles shall be designed such that they are supported by the tube sheet using existing mounting points within the shell. • The new bundles shall not exceed the weight of existing bundles. • The contractor must provide a lift diagram with capacity of each rigging point. • The contractor must provide testing reports for all hydro tests and vacuum checks. • The contractor must provide inspection reports for any machining and fabrication. • The contractor must provide a warranty for the work against defects in workmanship and materials for one year following acceptance.
