Parkdown Estates Water Upgrade

The Municipality of Anchorage is seeking a contractor to perform a comprehensive water‑distribution upgrade in the Parkdown Estates subdivision of Anchorage, Alaska. The scope includes installation of new PVC water mains (approximately 2,072 LF of 8‑in. and 12‑in. pipe), horizontal directional drilling for 284 LF of 12‑in. pipe, water‑service line extensions, fire‑hydrant and key‑box installations, extensive road and pavement reconstruction, storm‑pipe replacement, de‑watering, right‑of‑way acquisition, and associated traffic‑control and site‑restoration work. The contract is valued between $5 million and $10 million and must be completed within 220 calendar days from Notice to Proceed. • Install new 8‑in. and 12‑in. PVC water mains (~2,072 LF) plus HDD‑installed 12‑in. pipe (~284 LF). • Provide fire‑hydrant assemblies, key‑boxes, and water‑service lines to each residence. • Remove and replace asphalt, curbs, gutters, sidewalks, and storm‑pipe; handle de‑watering and traffic‑control. • Acquire right‑of‑entry agreements, coordinate utility relocations, and comply with Community Workforce Agreement and prevailing‑wage requirements.
