The City of Worcester issued a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for 200 Motorola CP100D UHF portable emergency radios, complete with required accessories, to be delivered to Worcester Public Schools by October 15, 2026. The solicitation was open on September 8, 2026 and closed on September 22, 2026. After evaluation, Industrial Communications was identified as the lowest responsive and responsible bidder and was awarded the contract. The bid was evaluated on lowest net price after permissible prompt‑pay discounts; no programming services were required and a three‑year essential warranty must be provided. Multiple certifications (good‑faith, CORI, MWBE, tax compliance, wage‑theft prevention, etc.) were mandatory for bidders.
