South Central Regional Mental Health Hospital Building Commissioning

This contract provides comprehensive building commissioning services for the new South Central Regional Mental Health Hospital in Sedgwick County, Kansas. The selected firm will develop a commissioning plan, review construction documents, generate pre‑functional checklists and functional performance tests, conduct weekly site visits during construction, witness equipment start‑up, and document all findings. Post‑construction, the contractor will perform three seasonal performance tests, a mid‑warranty review, deliver a final commissioning report, and provide recorded training for building operations staff. The scope covers 28 systems, including HVAC, lighting, emergency power, security, fire protection, building envelope, and integrated controls, and extends through a one‑year warranty period after final completion.
