Description
The Wayne State University RFP seeks a vendor to provide professional stage‑labor services for athletics, special events, and theater productions across the Detroit campus. The contract is a three‑year, best‑value agreement with the possibility of two one‑year extensions, and it is priced on an hourly‑rate basis for a variety of labor categories.
• Scope includes “court flips” in the fieldhouse, set‑up/strike for commencement and other large events, and labor for the Hilberry Gateway Theater.
• Vendor must submit a detailed Cost Schedule (Schedule C) with straight‑time and overtime rates for general labor, supervisors, and specialized trades (theatrical electrician, stage hands, sound tech, lighting, electrical tech, stage carpenter).
• Mandatory requirements: insurance certificates, compliance with Michigan FOIA, smoke‑free policy, and quarterly M/W/DVBE reporting; no prevailing‑wage rates apply.
