City of Central Lansdowne Rd Sidewalk Improvements (Re-Bid)

The City of Central is requesting cost proposals from Louisiana-licensed contractors for the Lansdowne Rd Sidewalk Improvements project. The project consists of approximately 375 linear feet of 5 foot-wide concrete sidewalk, embankment work, incidentals, and retaining wall. The project shall commence within two weeks from the Notice to Proceed issuance and shall be completed within 30 consecutive calendar days. The Contractor shall be charged Liquidated Damages in the amount of $250.00 per calendar day for each consecutive calendar day beyond the completion date. • The project requires a 100% Performance Bond and a 100% Payment Bond. • The Contractor must hold valid, current insurance certificates throughout the course of the work. • The Owner has the right to reject any and all bids in accordance with the Louisiana Public Bid Law. • Bids are valid for a period of 45 days. • The project, if awarded, shall be awarded on the basis of the lowest Base Bid and any Alternates.
