Description

Wayne State University established a three‑year, multiple‑award, preferred‑vendor contract framework for architecture and engineering consulting services across its campus. The agreement covers full‑service A/E design, specialized studies (roofing, building envelope, MEP, civil/structural, parking‑structure CIP), and related consulting, with the ability for vendors to act as lead consultants and subcontract as needed. Compensation is based on a sliding percentage of total construction cost for larger projects and fixed hourly rates for small projects and study work; rates are uniform across all awarded firms. The contract includes mandatory insurance (workers’ comp, professional liability, CGL, auto, umbrella) and compliance with WSU wage rates, equal‑opportunity, and FOIA requirements. Up to two one‑year extensions are available, and vendor interviews may be part of the selection process.
