Furnishing of Services to Field Test, Transport and Remove Used Motor Oil and Used Motor Oil Filters from Various County Collection Centers

The County of Kauai, Department of Finance, Purchasing Division, has awarded a contract to Cameron Chemical Corp. for the furnishing of services to field test, transport, and remove used motor oil and used motor oil filters from various county collection centers. The contract is for a three-year period, with an estimated quantity of 76,200 gallons of used motor oil and 50 drums of used motor oil filters. The contract is subject to the availability and appropriation of funds, effective upon issuance of the official Notice to Proceed. The key services included in this contract are: • Field testing of used motor oil • Transportation of used motor oil • Removal of used motor oil filters • Disposal of used motor oil and filters in an environmentally responsible manner The contract also requires the vendor to provide insurance certificates and a Contractor's Certificate of Compliance for final payment.
