Fivemile Creek Hydroelectric Project, Final Design, Permitting and Hydrology Data Collection Services

The Alaska Energy Authority contracted HDR Alaska, Inc. to provide comprehensive engineering services for the Fivemile Creek hydroelectric project. The scope covers final design (65 %, 95 % and full PS&E), permitting (including NEPA analysis), and continuous hydrology data collection to support construction. The contract is for a two‑year period with an optional two‑year renewal and was awarded through a full and open sealed‑bid competition. • Deliver 65 % design by April 2021, 95 % thereafter, and final design by mid‑2021. • Conduct hydrology monitoring, develop rating curves, and submit annual hydrology reports. • Prepare all required permits, complete NEPA analysis, and coordinate with the CMGC and other agencies.
