SATELLITE PHONE SERVICE

The County of Hawaii issued a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for satellite phone service for five Iridium Model #9505A phones. The RFQ was later cancelled because the using agency did not need to purchase any new minutes. The contract was expected to be for a period of one year, with a minimum of 1,000 minutes per phone. The contractor was required to provide insurance and licenses as referenced in the RFQ form. • The RFQ was for a total of five phones, each with a minimum of 1,000 minutes. • The contract was expected to be for a period of one year. • The contractor was required to provide shipping and tax (if applicable) as part of the contract. • The County of Hawaii is exempt from federal taxes and the City and County of Honolulu, 0.5% General Excise Tax Surcharge.
