City and Borough of Juneau (CBJ) Public Opinion Survey on Tourism Management for Community Development Department (CDD)

The City and Borough of Juneau (CBJ) is seeking a contractor to conduct a public opinion survey on tourism management for the Community Development Department (CDD). The survey will gather information on community views on tourism impacts, including social, recreational, and economic impacts. The contractor will be required to design and implement the survey, analyze the data, and provide a comprehensive report. The contract term is from July 12, 2021, to November 30, 2021, with the option to renew for three additional one-year terms. • The survey will be conducted using a statistically valid methodology. • The contractor will work with CBJ staff to implement the recommendations of the Visitor Industry Task Force. • The survey will include questions on the proposed construction of a cruise ship dock at the subport. • The contractor will provide a comprehensive report, including data tables, an executive summary, and a presentation of the research findings.
