Term Contract for Purchase and Delivery of Water Treatment Chemicals

The City and Borough of Juneau is seeking a term contract for the purchase and delivery of water treatment chemicals. The contract will be in effect from July 1, 2024, to June 30, 2025, with an automatic annual renewal period for three additional years. The contractor will be required to provide chemicals on an as-needed basis, with quantities ordered every two months unless needs change. The chemicals must be NSF 60 Certified and meet specific technical specifications. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. • The contract includes the purchase of Sodium Hypochlorite, Sodium Bisulfite, Citric Acid, and Caustic Soda. • The chemicals must be packaged in NSF 60 Food Grade quality sealed drums. • The contractor must comply with all applicable Federal, State, and City laws. • The City reserves the right to determine suitability of items offered. • The contract price is to remain firm for the duration of the contract period, including any automatic annual renewal or extension periods.
