RDA Downtown Corridor Sidewalk Project

The City of Elko Redevelopment Agency contracted the reconstruction of downtown sidewalks along the central corridor, including demolition of existing pavement, installation of new concrete sidewalks, curb & gutter, post curbs, ADA‑compliant ramps, water‑service mains, storm‑drain HDPE piping, electrical outlets for tree lighting, and extensive landscaping/irrigation improvements. The work must comply with Nevada public‑works “Orange Book” specifications, prevailing‑wage rules, and extensive utility‑coordination requirements, and be completed within a 150‑day schedule. • Demolition of existing concrete/asphalt sidewalks and associated utilities • New construction of concrete sidewalks, curbs, water mains (10‑inch DI or PVC), HDPE storm‑drain, electrical receptacles, and irrigation system • Landscape planting of trees, shrubs, and related site‑stabilization (dust control, hydro‑seeding)
