RFP 02-2627 Occupational Therapy Services (OTS)

The Shrewsbury Borough Board of Education is seeking a qualified provider to deliver comprehensive occupational therapy services to its Pre‑K‑8 student population for one school year. The contractor will furnish licensed occupational therapists and assistants to perform direct therapy sessions, evaluations, home‑based services (when approved), and consultative support for individualized education plans. The provider must maintain continuity of therapist for each student, respond to up‑to‑four emergent requests per month, and submit detailed documentation and monthly caseload spreadsheets. Strict compliance with state and federal regulations, professional liability insurance, and extensive certification documentation are required. • Hourly OT and OT‑assistant therapy (minimum 20‑minute sessions) delivered in‑classroom, pull‑out, or approved home settings. • Per‑evaluation assessments with signed electronic and hard‑copy reports. • Participation in IEP/ISP/504 meetings, emergency‑request handling (≤4/month, 3‑day turnaround), and ongoing data entry within 30 days of month‑end. • Mandatory insurance (E&O $1 M per occurrence, $3 M aggregate, $1 M medical) and a suite of certifications (affirmative‑action, de‑barment, Iran/Russia disclosures, political‑contribution, ownership). • One‑year contract (July 1 2026 – June 30 2027) with payment terms aligned to NJ Prompt Payment Law (≤90 days after invoice).
