Occupational Therapy Services

The Southwest Independent School District is seeking to contract vendors on an "as-needed" basis from qualified vendors experienced with providing Occupational Therapy (OT), consult and direct, and evaluations to students with disabilities. The District seeks qualified and licensed occupational therapy service providers to implement children’s occupational therapy Individualized Educational Plans (IEPs), conduct evaluations/eligibility, per District and federal educational guidelines, and attend meetings with multi-disciplinary teams to discuss such services. Key responsibilities include: conducting OT evaluations, developing IEPs, providing direct and consultative services, and participating in ARD committees. The awarded vendor(s) will be required to provide copies of State of Texas Licenses for all Occupational Therapists assigned to Southwest ISD, as well as resumes, college transcripts, and continuing education certificates for each therapist/therapy assistant. • Key services: Occupational Therapy, consult and direct, and evaluations • Population: Students with disabilities • Location: Southwest Independent School District • Contract term: September 1, 2025, or award date through May 31, 2030 • Requirements: Qualified and licensed occupational therapy service providers, ability to work a minimum of 16 hours/week, and compliance with District standards and federal law.
